Vistage Triangle Meeting

Vistage Triangle Meeting

VISTAGE TRIANGLE

CEO Peer Group Raleigh-Durham

The CEO doesn't need more advice.

You Need the Right People in the Room.

Vistage Triangle is a CEO peer group serving Raleigh-Durham business leaders who want better perspective on consequential decisions. As the stakes rise, leadership can become increasingly isolating. The Convergent Group Founder facilitates the Vistage Triangle group.

Your team looks to you for answers. But where do you go to challenge your assumptions, pressure-test important decisions, and speak candidly about what's really keeping you up at night?

VISTAGE TRIANGLE brings together accomplished CEOs and business owners in a confidential peer advisory environment designed to help you become a better leader, make better decisions and achieve better results.

Better Leaders. Better Decisions. Better Results.

WHO DOES THE CEO
TALK TO?

FEW TRUE PEERS

The bigger the decisions, the fewer people you can speak with openly.

UNCHALLENGED THINKING

Your Leadership Team may see the business through the same organizational lens you do.

HIGH-STAKES DECISIONS

Growth, people and strategy decisions become increasingly consequential.

YOUR OWN CONFIDENTIAL PEER ADVISORY BOARD

A Different Kind of Conversation

Imagine having a trusted group of accomplished business leaders who understand the weight of the decisions that you carry. They have no agenda other than helping you to make the right decisions for yourself and your company.

VISTAGE TRIANGLE brings together CEOs and business owners from non-competing companies in a confidential, professionally facilitated peer advisory environment.

This isn't networking. This isn't about exchanging leads. It isn't a roomful of consultants trying to sell you something that will "instantly" solve your problems or challenges. Instead, this is a working group.

Peers won't simply validate your thinking. Instead, they'll challenge it. With Rigor.

PERSPECTIVE

See the real issue through the experience of accomplished leaders who are not constrained by the way your company has always done things.

CHALLENGE

Pressure test assumptions in a confidential environment where candor is expected and constructive disagreement is valued.

CLARITY

Leave with a clearer understanding of the decision in front of you. And, to top it all off, peers become your accountability partners.

RESULTS

VISTAGE member companies grow 2.3X faster than their non-Vistage member counterparts. Create sustainable performance and long-term value.

Different perspectives. Better questions. Better Decisions. Better Results.

What Would You Put on the Table?

THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

Do I have the right people to take us where we're going?

THE GROWTH OPPORTUNITY

Is this an opportunity we should pursue or is it instead a "shiny object?"

THE KEY EXECUTIVE

I know that I need to address this. Why haven't I?

SUCCESSION

What's the business, and my role, supposed to look like 3-5 years from now?

STRATEGY

We agreed on strategy. Why aren't we executing it?

YOU & BLIND SPOTS

The business is doing well. So why am I asking myself what's next?

THE VISTAGE EXPERIENCE

More than a peer group

01

PEER ADVISORY

Translate strategic objectives into specific priorities, owners and measurable outcomes. Your leadership team should know exactly what matters most and what success looks like.

02

1:1 COACHING

Create greater clarity around roles and responsibilities, decision rights, and accountability. When leaders are aligned, execution naturally accelerates.

03

EXPERT INSIGHT

Build practical leadership rhythms including executive meetings, operating reviews, KPIs, scorecards and accountability systems. The objective is not more meetings. It is better execution

04

ACCOUNTABILITY

A disciplined cadence that helps turn insight into decisions. Decisions result in actions.

What Engagement Looks Like

A Fractional COO engagement typically progresses through four (4) steps

01
Assess

Understand the business, leadership team, operating model, KPIs and execution hurdles.

02
Prioritize

Identify the few operational priorities that will create the greatest impact.

03
Implement

Establish the processes, operating cadence, scorecards and accountability systems required for execution.

04
Knowledge Transfer

Strengthen the leadership team so the organization can sustain the discipline internally.

Executive Experience Matters

When You're Advising Executives

I've spent much of my career sitting in the same chair as the leaders that I work with today.

I've owned and led businesses, carried P&L responsibility, built teams, navigated growth and made the hard calls when there was no obvious right answer.

I've also spent more than a decade coaching CEOs and CXOs, and previously served as a VISTAGE CHAIR, earning multiple CHAIR EXCELLENCE awards.

That experience shaped a simple belief: The quality of our decisions improves when we're willing to challenge our own thinking.

My role isn't to tell accomplished CEOs and business owners how to run their companies. It is to create the environment and ask the "carefrontational" questions and help them see what they may not see on their own.

Business Owner | President | Executive Coach | EOS Implementer | Award Winning VISTAGE CHAIR

VISTAGE TRIANGLE may be strong fit if you are a:

CEO | President | Founder  Business Owner

YOU:

  • Carry meaningful responsibility for the organization's direction and results
  • Value candid feedback rather than validation
  • Are willing and open to discuss real business and leadership challenges
  • Want perspectives from leaders outside your company
  • Are committed to personal and professional growth
  • Are prepared to contribute as much as you receive
The quality of a peer advisory group depends on the quality and commitment of the people around the table. That's why fit matters.

YOU'VE BUILT A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS

Who Is Helping You Build the Leader It Needs Next?

The decisions don't become easier as the business grows.

They become more consequential.

You don't need another networking event. This isn't BNI or YPO. Another stack of business "how-to" books isn't the answer either. And you certainly don't need someone telling you what to do.

INSTEAD:

  • You need a confidential place to think.
  • A group that is willing to challenge you.
  • And people who understand what it means to carry the responsibility of leadership.

Let's Start with a Conversation

No presentation. No pressure. Let's spend 30 minutes together talking about your business, the challenges that you are navigating and what you're looking for from a peer advisory experience.
